Introduction :

                          The kumbh mela fully dedicated to hindu cultural festival for bath in ganga's.it is widely organized on given places.

1 : Prayagaraj 

2 : Ujjain 

3 : Haridwar 

4 : Nashik

But the main place of kumbh mela is bank of river like Prayagaraj. At any given place kumbh mela held once in 12 year's. There is a 3 year's  difference between Haridwar and Nashik. But Nashik and Ujjain held same years. According to hindu methodology and culture. 

According to 'hindu granth' Lard vishnu drops the drop of Amrit in this four place,so it is called Kumbh place.

There is a several river festival in hindu culture but kumbh mela is top one in india .the Adi Sankara started the kumbh mela at Prayagaraj in 8th century and the kumbh mela of Haridwar is a original kumbh mela 

The kumbh mela at Ujjain began 18 century as a local festival.
